# How to Apply TIME Fiber for Home: A Complete Step-by-Step Guide
When it comes to ultra-fast and ultra-stable home internet in Malaysia, TIME Internet is widely recognized as a powerhouse. Operating on a 100% fiber-optic network, TIME is famous for delivering blazing-fast speeds, symmetrical upload and download rates, and low-latency connections that are perfect for heavy downloaders, streamers, and gamers alike.
If you are looking to supercharge your home connectivity, switching to TIME is a fantastic choice. This guide will take you through the exact steps needed to get your household connected. To begin right away, check coverage and view the latest promotions directly at [TIME Fibre Info](https://timefibre.info/).
### Step 1: Check TIME Fiber Availability at Your Address
Unlike traditional copper-based networks, TIME operates on its own dedicated, 100% fiber infrastructure. Historically focused on high-rise residential buildings like condominiums, apartments, and flats, TIME has also expanded its footprint to select landed properties.
* Head over to the coverage checker tool on [TIME Fibre Info](https://timefibre.info/).
* Enter your exact residential address (including your unit number, block, street name, and postcode).
* **Result:** If your building is listed, you are ready to select a plan! If it isn’t listed, it means TIME infrastructure hasn’t reached your building yet, and you may want to register your interest for future expansion.
### Step 2: Choose Your TIME Fiber Package
TIME keeps its plans straightforward, focusing on massive speed and high value. Consider your household’s usage patterns to pick the ideal plan:
* **100Mbps to 200Mbps:** Excellent for smaller households, students, or remote workers who need reliable performance for video calls, browsing, and standard HD streaming.
* **500Mbps to 600Mbps:** The sweet spot for medium-sized families. It effortlessly handles concurrent 4K streaming, online gaming, and multiple connected smart devices without any slowdowns.
* **1Gbps to 2Gbps+:** Designed for power users, large families, and hardcore gamers. TIME offers incredibly competitive rates for gigabit speeds, making it the ultimate setup for zero-lag entertainment.
*Bonus:* Most TIME home fiber plans come bundled with next-generation Wi-Fi 6 routers (or mesh Wi-Fi systems for higher tiers) to ensure full coverage across every corner of your home.
### Step 3: Prepare Your Supporting Documents
To ensure your application is processed instantly without any administrative hiccups, have digital copies of these standard items ready:
* **Malaysian Citizens:** A clear photo or scanned copy of your MyKad / Identity Card (front and back).
* **Foreigners:** A clear copy of your valid passport (note that registering as a non-malaysian citizen typically requires a standard security deposit).
* **Contact Details:** A valid mobile phone number and active email address for digital billing and installation updates.
### Step 4: Submit Your Application Online
You can complete the entire application process from your phone or computer without ever needing to step into a retail store.
1. Visit the registration portal at [TIME Fibre Info](https://timefibre.info/).
2. Select your chosen internet speed and any hardware add-ons (like extra mesh nodes).
3. Fill out the application form with your personal details and confirmed installation address.
4. Upload your supporting documents and choose your preferred date and time slot for the installation.
5. Submit the form. A representative will quickly verify the application and lock in your appointment.
### Step 5: The Installation Process
On your scheduled installation day, professional TIME technicians (the TIME Tech Squad) will visit your home.
* **Building Access:** Because TIME primarily services high-rise buildings, make sure to inform your building management office ahead of time. The technicians will need authorized access to the building’s central telecom or MDF room.
* **Setup and Testing:** An adult (18 years or older) must be present. The technicians will pull the fiber cable into your unit, set up the Optical Network Unit (ONU), configure your high-performance Wi-Fi 6 router, and run thorough speed tests to ensure you are getting every megabit you paid for. Basic standard installation is usually provided free of charge.
### Conclusion
With its 100% fiber network and straightforward packages, upgrading to TIME Fiber is one of the best upgrades you can give your home ecosystem. By submitting your application online, you can bypass the hassle and get connected to premium-grade internet in just a few days.
